Keep your mask on
Wear approved paintball eye and face protection throughout active play and whenever instructed in the game area. If it fogs, becomes loose or is damaged, signal a marshal instead of lifting it.
Control the marker
- Keep the marker pointed in a safe direction.
- Keep your finger away from the trigger until play is active.
- Use the barrel-blocking device outside the live game area.
- Do not adjust velocity or tamper with rental equipment.
Listen to the briefing
Understand boundaries, cease-fire calls, surrender rules, minimum firing distances and how to leave the field safely. Ask questions before play starts.
Dress for the venue
Wear closed footwear with suitable grip and clothing that covers exposed skin. Use sunscreen, drink water and tell staff about relevant medical needs.
Speak up
Report damaged equipment, unsafe behaviour, poor visibility or unclear instructions immediately. A responsible venue should pause play when a safety concern cannot be resolved on the field.
